Compassionate and Progressive George Soros

George Soros is a unique activist and philanthropist. He believes in freedom for all and advocates for freedom of expression, transparency, accountable government, and societies that promote justice and equality. He has spent his life fighting for these causes and to this date has donated over $12 billion dollars. Soros has based most of his charity work on helping people overcome discrimination based only on who they are. Read his profile at Washington Times.

Soros is unique because he has faced such discrimination that he fights against firsthand. Being born in Hungary and present during the Nazi occupation has contributed to his compassion for this cause. Experiencing firsthand the genocide of over 500,000 Hungarian Jews only strengthened his determination to make the world a better place. His own family had to resort to extreme measures to ensure their own survival. These included such things as securing false identity papers, concealing their backgrounds, and helping others in danger do the same. Soros recalls that his family, themselves, as well as helped others overcome an evil force.

After leaving Hungary for London, and London for the United States in 1956, Soros began to acquire his fortune. With his wealth, Soros created the Open Society Foundation. Through this network, Soros helped many in need and advocated his unique philanthropy. Some of his earliest accomplishments were sending aid to black South Africans and assisting the open exchange of banned books in the Communist Eastern Bloc.

After the Cold War, he expanded his efforts to include fighting for accountable, transparent, and democratic societies. He was an early opponent of the war against drugs; he believed that the drug war caused more damage than the drugs themselves. Soros also helped to launch the American medical marijuana program. Soros was also an advocate of gay rights. In the early 2000’s he began advocating for same-sex marriage.

Throughout George Soros career, he has fought for many things. But his progressive and compassionate nature have remained consistent. Soros has dedicated himself to fighting the for world’s most unfairly treated groups. Although he is getting older, he is still fighting to make the world a better place for everyone in it, regardless of their skin color, socioeconomic status, and origin. Kyle Bass Gets It All Wrong On Oil

Kyle Bass has a hedge fund in Dallas that he used to bet really big on oil, and that is something that a lot of people were not sure would work. He wanted to be invested in oil because he thought that the technology for other kinds of energy was just not viable yet. He wanted to be as big and splashy as he could with his investments, but it did not work. That is something that people are not surprised by, and they have seen him as a gambler for a long time.

Kyle Bass has always been pretty good with betting money because he is rich enough to do it, but other people who follow what he does know that he is just not the right person to work with. He has taken a big stance on a lot of different things that have not panned out, and sometimes it looks like he does not do his research. Other big investors already pulled out of energy because they knew that it would be a bad investment, and that is where Kyle Bass misses out.

The investors that want to get the best results should probably go with other investors, and they need to try out what the analysts are saying about Kyle Bass. He is wrong for a lot of people who need information, and his hedge fund is actually down about 7% just because of the oil losses he took. That is dangerous for people who want to make more money from investment instead of just guessing at how to manage their money.
